Compressed Polyethylene (CPE) film, commonly called polylatex, is made from a mixture of 65% Low density polyethylene (LDPE) and 35% Light Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE). CPE film is very light weight and is a complex hydrocarbon chain. It is practically impervious, hence it is excellent for containing moisture and dirt. It also repels moisture and oil. CPE is non-toxic and odorless. CPE has excellent resistance to chemical corrosion and its physical properties are not affected by either chemicals or solvents. Since it is a form of Plastic it possesses excellent strength and it can easily be heat sealed. It is heavily textured for better grip

Our regular and non skid polypropylene shoe covers are made of thick non-woven polypropylene material commonly used in a clean environment. The Non-Skid has a tacky material thermally applied to the bottom of the shoe over for a better traction and are manufactured in a stringent cleanroom environment. The impervious nature of the material makes the shoe covers resistant to moisture, oil and chemicals.
